Foxglove (mix) - Digitalis purpurea.
Biennial. Plant height 130-150 cm. Flower diameter 5 cm.
Frost- and drought-resistant, beautifully flowering plant with a slightly branched, pubescent stem.
A tall racemose inflorescence with bell-shaped flowers proudly rises above a rosette of large leaves.
Lush bright pink candelabra of inflorescences will charm you at first sight and will place colorful accents in the flowerbed.
Used for group plantings, mixborders, decorating walls and for cutting.
Sowing: May-June in boxes or in open ground for seedlings. Seedlings are picked into peat-humus pots.
Seedlings are planted in a permanent place in the fall at a distance of 25-30 cm between plants.
Care: the crop is unpretentious to growing conditions. Prefers moderately fertile soil with sufficient moisture and partial shade.
Flowering: June - August.
